Cross-country skiing in Lech am Arlberg means peace, rhythm and top quality. Over 27 km of free groomed trails await classic and skating tracks – with guaranteed snow thanks to the altitude of approx. 1,450 m. Particularly popular: the Lech–Zug–Älpele–Spullerwald trail with gentle climbs and places to stop for refreshments; access directly in the town centre at the wooden bridge. The short Omesberg–Zug loops are also ideal for beginners or for technique training. The entire Arlberg region offers around 80 km of perfectly groomed trails.     Duration approx. 0:47 h · ↑44 m / ↓18 m · highest point 1,490 m · Start Omesberg (Lech), along the Lech to Zug. Ideal for beginners and practising technique.
     
  • Lech – Zugertal – 2.8 km, easy
    Duration approx. 0:40 h · ↑49 m · highest point 1,490 m / lowest point 1,440 m · Start in the centre of Lech (Holzbrücke/Rüfiplatz), along the banks of the Lech to Zug; optional extension towards Älpele.
     
  • Zug – Älpele – Spullerwald – Zug – 6.6 km, difficult
    Duration approx. 1:15 h · ↑163 m / ↓127 m · highest point 1,608 m / lowest point 1,488 m · Start at the Zug mountain railway valley station, loop through the Zug Valley via Gasthof s'Älpele and Spullerwald. Challenging and scenically stunning.
     
  • Zug – Älpele – Tannlägeralpe – Älpele – Zug – 10.4 km, difficult
    Duration approx. 2:46 h · ↑244 m / ↓119 m · highest point 1,666 m / lowest point 1,486 m · Long, peaceful loop via Tannlägeralpe; can be shortened at any time. For endurance runners.
     
  • Zürs – Flexen Pass – Zürs– 2.2 km, moderate
    Duration approx. 0:40 h · ↑55 m / ↓55 m · highest point 1,773 m / lowest point 1,715 m · Start Trittkopfbahn I, sunny south side to Flexenhäusl and back. Short, crisp, with steeper passages.
